Farnham Castle – Farnham Bridal Shoot
The Venue – Farnham Castle
Farnham Castle, situated in the small quaint town of Farnham. The town also contains some incredible talent within the wedding industry.
I had the opportunity to shoot for Farnham Bridal Boutique who provide bespoke, handmade designs to suit brides of all shapes and sizes.
The castle is on a hill (excuse the Ed Sheeran reference) and its pretty magical, in addition to this we had free reign to shoot around the grounds and capture some pure gold. In addition, it has a real French style to it, yellow walls, climbing shrubs, huge stain glass windows and It still holds its original cobbled features.
Dresses – Farnham Bridal Boutique
We worked with a number of different designs, from sleek satin gowns, to intricate lace therefore, as a result each
garment told a story. I wanted to ensure every location and dress was different, so we had the
opportunity to shoot a varied amount of looks for each dress.
Make up – Melissa Oldridge
Hair and Makeup was created by the wonderfully talented Melissa Oldridge. Using subtle tones and
nudes to keep the look natural and fresh. For instance, it was dramatic enough to be picked up on
camera. Meanwhile, I spent most of my morning swooning over her impressive kit. Armed with Charlotte Tilbury
pallets, every single lip colour you could imagine and glorious smelling hair spray.
Videography – Joe Morely
My videographer partner in crime Joe was present, tasked with creating a whimsical, romantic styled
video he really did deliver on the concept given to him. It’s always fun working with Joe. Most importantly, we bounce
off each other creatively and always strive to achieve something out of the ordinary, using different angles and approaches to our content.
I hope you enjoy looking through the gallery, a lot of time and effort went into these images. It was amazing to get the opportunity to work with Farnham Bridal again and In conclusion, I can honestly say I am so proud of what we all achieved.
A massive thank you to the following:

Why do photographers do Styled Shoot?
It’s Important for wedding photographers to continue practising their skills, even in their quiet periods.
I organise around four styled shoots each year, it’s an opportunity to explore with new trends coming in the industry.
We were curious to explore what would happen when you mix 80’s glam with industrial vibes.
The team assembled and we headed to the breezy cost of Brighton, Copper Dollar Studio’s provided us with the space to host our shoot, a perfect industrial space.
Intimate Wedding Ceremony – The Concept
The concept of the shoot was a simple elopement with four friends, a bride, groom, babe of honour and best man.
Using a small industrial space to create a beautiful backdrop for a ceremony, couples photos and group shots.
I want to show that brides on a budget can still look so gorgeous. For example, the brides dress was recycled.
The gorgeous florals and styling were provided by the outstanding Two Little Birds.
Myself and Lynsey work together on most of my styled shoots, she is real partner in crime and somebody who is storming their way through the industry.
In addition her eye for colour, detail and the ability to transform a space into something remarkable is a real talent in itself.
In Conclusion the shoot was a success. We hope you enjoy the images and even if you can take any form of inspiration away from it then it was well worth it!

Alternative Weddings – Neon meets Autumn.
Planning an Alternative Wedding? This blog post is designed to give you the alternative style inspiration with a mix of Neon detail to add the wow factor!
Myself and a team of incredible talent within the industry gathered together on a wet, also miserable Sunday to create a magical example of alternative weddings.
Our styled shoot demonstrates community over competition. In addition to Girl Power!
We liken ourselves to the avengers, when we assemble we bring creative chaos to the space that we are working with.
The brief behind the shoot was to focus on all things Neon and Alternative weddings.
Mixed with the gorgeous colours of Autumn because who doesn’t love Autumnal hues?! Whilst the focus was on the models we aimed to create the scene of an after party.
Two Little Birds worked on the styling, as well as providing props, flowers and an eye for all things rock and roll.
Lynsey worked with me on the English Boho click here to check it out.
Make up was inspired by Alternative Burlesque it was especially important to depict this through hair and make up and Viktoria did that.
Heidi provided a stunning crown, which was an important feature to the shoot.
It included moons & stars giving a nod to how beautiful astrology is.
Sarah created a black cake covered in gold glitter and autumnal flowers, the cake was place in the middle of the table, as a result it became a powerful centre piece.

Group photos, YES OR NO?
Group photos, here’s the thing they really do not have to replicate the awkward school photo.
Group photos should be used to relive fond memories so why make them un-natural.
Formal group shots can still be full of emotion and fun.
Your photos are a heirloom which can be passed down your family in generations to come.
When the Bridal parties and Groomsmen let their hair down and have fun in front of the camera you can create some real gold.
Your wedding day is supposed to portray your life and how you are as a couple, being your authentic self in these photos are so important.
Perfect example, Josh and Molly’s photos were full of sass, banter and fun:

Molly & Josh – Mythe Barn Leicester
Where do we start with this absolutely beautiful couple.
Well the setting for the their wedding was at the idyllic Mythe Barn in Leicester, a perfect venue to what was going to be a very exciting day.
The images available to this venue do it little justice, the scenery surrounding the venue is just sublime. You can sit there for hours and be at peace with the surrounding views. It was very obvious from the outset why Molly and Josh chose this venue for this very commemorative day.
The day started off with the build up to the ceremony, within bridal preparation, you can feel the buzz and energy in the air, it was infectious and was a real joy to capture. From passing remarks to how gorgeous Molly looked, to seeing friends and family seeing her in her dress, nothing had prepared them for this moment and most of the family tried to hold back their tears of joy as they saw her.
The ceremony itself was perfection and for the people that where there, they would say this would be an understatement itself!
They embraced their day in the truest form and took everything in their stride, almost to the point they have been prepared for this moment all there life.
The perfect Sunset wedding in a wheat field aware goes to… Molly & Josh!
Bohemian Brides – Styled Shoot
When you put a group of creative individuals in a room or a location you can make real magic happen.
I found myself on a mission trying to source highly regarded suppliers in the industry who are local to leafy Surrey, from the moment I started to discover each person I knew I had to collaborate with them.
We all gathered at Frensham Little Pond in Surrey to create this gorgeous, whimsical, boho styled shoot. Frensham is one of those places that has held a special place in my heart, it harbours so much natural beauty and I have experienced a number of happy memories here.
The main aim of this shoot was to allow all parties to come together to create something quite magnificent.

Rottingdean Windmill East Sussex -Styled Shoot
Firstly, never in my 26 years have I ever experience gail force winds like the ones we battled on the day of this beautiful styled shoot, our willing models Amy and Scott battled the heavy gusts of wind and side ways rain to help us create something extrodinary!
Rottingdean Windmill is located in East Sussex and stands proudly on rolling hills which lead into the coast of East Sussex, we chose this location not only due to its natural beauty, but because it would compliment the style of images we wanted to portray, our main aim was to help inspire Bride and Groom’s to be with any wedding plans they may have!
Most importantly we were fortunate enough to work with some outstanding talent within the wedding industry, the dress was provided by Morgan Davies Bridal, designed by world renowned bridal designer Alon Livne. We used two bouquets designed by Jessica Eliza Flowers one being a cascading arrangement and the second boquet was full of shape and texture.
Suppliers we collaborated with:

Charlotte & Cameron – Treehouse Point Seattle
If ever there was a wedding that was straight out a story book it would be Charlotte and Cameron’s.
Treehouse Point in Seattle was built by the Treehouse Master himself, Pete Nelson! To say I was starstruck was a bit of a understatement.
Now where to begin.. Charlotte worked and lived in London and Cameron moved to London and was originally from Vancouver, one year later they both live in New York and started to plan the wedding of their dreams in Seattle.
The Seattle based wedding boasted many intricate details, from the Pronovias dress to the wine bottles named after them (this was pretty impressive they managed to source these wines from local wineries).
I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do!
